At RSMAT Printing Press, most printed products are custom-made according to the customer’s approved design, print file, size, quantity, material, and production specifications.
This Artwork Approval Policy explains the customer’s responsibility when reviewing and approving artwork or print files before production begins.
1. Customer Review Responsibility
Before printing starts, the customer is responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all artwork, design files, and order details.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Text and spelling
Phone numbers and contact information
Addresses
Names and company details
QR codes and barcodes
Colors
Sizes
Quantities
Product specifications
Layout and final artwork
Cutting, folding, binding, and finishing details
Once the customer approves the final artwork or print file, RSMAT Printing Press considers the file approved for production.
2. Approval Before Production
Production starts only after the customer approves the final design, artwork, or print file and the order is officially confirmed according to the agreed order process.
Approval may be given through email, WhatsApp, website order confirmation, written message, or any other communication method used between the customer and RSMAT Printing Press.
After approval is received and the order is officially confirmed, the order may move to production and changes may no longer be possible.
3. Errors in Approved Files
RSMAT Printing Press is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved file or approved design.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Spelling mistakes
Incorrect phone numbers
Incorrect addresses
Wrong names or company information
Incorrect QR codes or barcodes
Missing information
Low-resolution images
Incorrect colors selected by the customer
Wrong sizes or quantities confirmed by the customer
If the customer approves a file containing mistakes, any correction, reprint, or replacement may require additional cost.
4. Color Differences
Colors may appear differently on screens compared to printed materials due to screen settings, lighting, material type, printing method, ink behavior, and finishing options.
Minor color variations are considered normal in the printing process.
If exact color matching is required, the customer should request a physical proof, sample, or special color matching service before production, when available.
5. Print Tolerances
Minor production tolerances may occur during printing and finishing.
These may include small differences in:
Cutting
Folding
Binding
Color density
Positioning
Material behavior
Final product size
Such minor variations are considered normal within professional printing standards.
6. File Quality
The customer is responsible for providing print-ready files when required.
Files should be high resolution and suitable for professional printing. Low-quality files, low-resolution images, or incorrect file formats may affect the final print result.
If RSMAT Printing Press identifies a clear technical issue before production, we may notify the customer when possible. However, final responsibility for approving the file remains with the customer.
7. Changes After Approval
Changes requested after artwork approval may not be possible if production has already started.
If changes are still possible, they may require:
Additional design fees
Additional production fees
Additional time
A new approval from the customer
RSMAT Printing Press will inform the customer if a requested change affects the cost or timeline.
8. Proofs and Mockups
Digital previews, mockups, or proofs are provided to help the customer review the design before production.
Mockups and digital previews are for visual reference only. The final printed product may differ slightly due to material, printing method, finishing, and production conditions.
9. Customer-Provided Content
The customer is responsible for ensuring that any logo, image, design, trademark, text, or file submitted to RSMAT Printing Press is legally owned by the customer or used with proper permission.
RSMAT Printing Press is not responsible for copyright, trademark, or intellectual property issues related to customer-submitted content.
